π― Current focus
Iβm currently scaling my agency and expanding more into storytelling-focused, high quality video. Iβm so excited to work with more brands that are building great products, and helping them create and communicate a strong story that actually resonates with people. The more I zoom out of everyday social media content and think creatively about storytelling and how to get real people to care about things, the more I love brainstorming and finding ways to grow and help more people.
π² An all-green view of the woods
Canβt get over cabins in the woods, and houses that face the forest. My Pinterest is full of big windows facing trees as far as your eye can see, so if you see me escaping London (which I absolutely love) for an all-green view, donβt be surprised. I might have to start writing another book just to go somewhere in the forest and write.
π How I Became a Famous Novelist by Steve Hely
Iβm currently reading a great book called How I Became a Famous Novelist by Steve Hely. Itβs honestly quite genius. Itβs a satirical account of a writer who wants to make a lot of money by writing a bestseller / movie-adaptation and merch / posters at the airport type of book. So he writes the most clichΓ© and fake-literary book possible to pass a typical pretentious genius writer. Itβs great, very funny and accurate read.
πͺ Going all-in without overthinking
I love getting myself out of my comfort zone by going all-in on ideas I have and ensuring I execute them without overthinking. If I can go from 0 to 1 on an idea on the same day, I will β getting things out of your head and into the world is such a valuable way to learn to simply get things done, and it has helped me in my career and personal projects immensely.
π€³ Scrolling on Substack
Iβve been detoxing from most social media platforms, and the main place I scroll these days is Substack. The content is so much better, the feed doesnβt suck you in, and I love engaging with people there. I still have IG & TikTok because itβs most of my job, but thankfully I donβt really doomscroll there.Β
π§ Nothing
I love the company Nothing! Iβve had their ear (a) earphones for a while and only charge them once or twice a month, the battery life is incredible. I really love the design of all their products. Theyβre doing great work and I love following along to see where they go and what else they do!
π₯ Little walks in the park with a coffee and pastryΒ
Itβs the best thing about living in London. Significantly contributes to my week, will never stop doing it.
